Affiliate marketing is the process of promoting other’s products and services for a commission.Other than hardly selling something, you just mention the product and services you recommended in your content and earn a commission when someone purchases it based on your site’s referral.I am earning a comfortable income online since 2011 from affiliate marketing.The concept is simple. Create a website with lots of information about a particular topic(niche). Then recommend the products related to your topic.For example, If your website is about photography, you can join Amazon affiliate network and can recommend different kinds of cameras for your readers .You earn a commission when someone buys a camera through your referral.

Affiliate marketing is somewhat like real marketing. Once you build trust, people often visit your site and buy your other recommendations.
I follow two strategies while promoting a product as an affiliate.
- I only promote products I am extremely very familiar with . ie. the products I have personally used or highly trusted. So I can ensure the product quality before I recommended it to someone else.
- I never asked someone to buy the products , but I recommended products based on my experience.
Don’t over promote the products . In addition, make sure that your site is not cluttered with affiliate links and banners.
Always remember one thing . Affiliate products are created by someone else. Most of the time we don’t know more about them . So the moment we promote something in our site, we are responsible for that product, and it reflects on us and our brand.
So always go for wise recommendations.

I am affiliated to many networks like shareasale , commission junction, clickbank, Amazon etc. No matter what network you are using , its all about the product you are recommended in your website.I always got queries about profitable affiliate network. However, the profit depends on finding programs that match your niche.My profitable program or affiliate network many not work for your niche. For example, if you are running a cooking website, all these may be useless.Income as an affiliate relay on your site content ,how wisely you choose the product and your site traffic.Produce more quality content , focus on your site topic ,recommend more valuable product and earn more money from your site .
