Unlock Samsung Galaxy S5
Prerequisites
1. Dial *#06# to find your IMEI number
2. Purchase you unlock code here: Samsung unlock codes
3. Your code will be emailed to you
Supported Models
These instructions apply to any Samsung device from a supported carrier (including AT&T, T-Mobile, Rogers, Telus, Bell and many more). This includes the latest Android models like the Galaxy S5, Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge and Galaxy Alpha as well as non-Android phones like the Samsung Focus Flash or the Samsung Gravity TXT.
Use your new SIM!
1. Insert a SIM card from a new carrier (not the one the phone was locked to) and turn on your phone, you will be prompted to enter your unlock code.
2. Enter the entire 8 or 16 digit unlock code that you received by email and then press unlock. If you don't already have a code,
3. There is no step 3! You should now be able to use your phone on any GSM network
Getting Help
If you received an error message or these steps didn't work, then contact us by replying to the email we sent you with the unlock code. Be sure to include the following informationin your email:
- What is the exact error message that you get?
- Attach a screenshot from the device itself with the IMEI number displayed on screen. To do this simply dial *#06# from the dial pad to show the IMEI, then follow these instructions to take the screenshot: http://www.androidcentral.com/how-take-screenshot-samsung-galaxy-s4. Or if you prefer, you can take a picture of the screen with another device/camera and send that.

- What version of Android is running on the phone. Settings -> "About Device" -> Android Version
Troubleshooting (Galaxy S3 and Note 2 only!)
If you have a Galaxy S3 or Galaxy Note 2 and you get an error message that says "network unlock request unsuccessful" don't panic, it is very common and can be easily remedied. Follow the steps below to get your code working. The steps are somewhat technical so follow them carefully. Note these steps are only for those with a Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2.
