Google in Pakistan
According to official Facebook page of FBR (Federal Board of Revenue) its preparing to impose Tax on the Search Engine Giant Google in Pakistan on the profit it earns.
Google has no proper presence in Pakistan so its not easy to impose Tax on it. There are also rumors that FBR may impose tax on Pakistani Google Adsense Publishers who earns money through websites and gets paid for it by Google.On other hand Google Adsense Publishers from Pakistan are against any such step. according to them they bring foreign reserves for Pakistan by earning in dollars and according to Pakistani law no tax can be imposed on foreign remittance.Only future can tell how FBR will bring Google in the tax net which seems very difficult.
